Day 5 - A picture of your favorite memory

Day 5 - A picture of your favorite memory

Yet again, another challenge.  I am posting 2 today because both are very important to me.

This is a photo of a friend who was the closest person to me during my undergrad.  The photo is actually my Christmas present.  We were both poor at the time and when he asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I said I wanted him to share his favorite poem during a coffee house.  That's exactly what he's doing - sharing a piece of himself with the audience.  This night meant so much to me and is by far one of the best gifts from the heart I've ever received.

The second best memory I have is the day my second godson was born.  I left work just after noon, jumped in my car and drove over 2.5 hours to meet him.  Today is actually his 5th birthday so I thought it was fitting to make him one of my favorite memories.  I love you baby boy!
