Day 13 - A picture of your favorite band or artist
My favorite artist would be Sarah McLachlan.
I heard Possession for the first time when I was a freshmen and fell in love with it. It was played on a show I was in love with and the song just threw me - so haunting and beautiful. A few years later she began Lilith Fair which opened me up to so many different musical artists and changed my life. Ashlie and I had quite a few adventures when it came to Lilith Fair - ones I will treasure forever.
Currently, my favorite group is one I discovered post-breakup - The Format.
They haven't been a band in a while but one of the singers has started a new band - Fun. Joey just gave me their cd so I'm very excited to hear the entire album - I've enjoyed what I've heard on Pandora over the past few months.
If you want to check out some new music you should definitely search "The Format" and "Fun." (the period is part of the name). Both are amazing bands - I've even managed to get my best friend Stephen into The Format and he's picky about his music. Let me know what you think - especially if you enjoy them!
